Each titanium base from medentis medical is supplied non-sterile, together with an abutment screw and a scan body. All parts are intended for single-use only. Custom-fabricated mesostructures or temporary restorations can be cemented onto the titanium bases. The bonded components are screwed onto the corresponding implant in the mouth using the abutment screw. The scan body is used exclusively to capture the implant position for design in the inLab 3D software.

Intended Use:
The Sirona Dental CAD/CAM system is indicated for the production of optical impressions to capture the topographic features of teeth, dental impressions, or plaster models using computer-aided design and manufacturing for patients who require dental restorations and prostheses. The system can also be used for processing mesostructures (restorative dental prostheses used in conjunction with endosseous implant abutments).

The system, which can also be used for processing mesostructures, comprises:

  • Titanium bases
  • Meso Blocks
  • Sirona Dental CAD/CAM Design and Manufacturing Equipment

The titanium bases are attached to an implant as a prosthetic titanium base designed to be bonded to mesostructures in order to restore function and aesthetics in the oral cavity.

Gingival height: 4 mm
Note: H = Height from the top of the implant, K = length of the stump from the preparation margin
Material: Grade 5 Titanium
