After implantation, it is important that the patient’s implants are properly cared for so that they will serve them well in the long term. To ensure that the patient feels confident with their new dental restoration and can access information about their implants at any time, the practice should issue them an implant passport. In addition to personal details, this passport contains important information about the implant and the prosthetic restoration, as well as the dates of treatment and follow-up appointments, and, last but not least, important care instructions.
